I tried again to integrate Disqus commenting, but there was still a problem. That's a bummer, because I really need it to be *possible* for new threads to go up without my participation.
So I'm trying this--putting up one comment thread a day here. This, as the title suggests, is the thread for August 1. I know it's not a perfect solution, but neither is what I've been doing seemingly forever.
