Yesterday, the last of the Haloscan threads was posted here. It occurs to me that, since Haloscan is going away, there's no longer a need for a separate blog that houses the comments. I still can't remember the progression of events that led to a separate blog for comments, but I think it had something to do with the required javascript wreaking havoc with the main blog's load time.
There are something like 25 days until the free trial expires and I would need to pay to keep Echo commenting. I actually meant to install Echo only at http://howardempowered.blogspot.com in the first place, but something went wrong and I installed it here instead. But since that time, I have removed the Echo code from this blog and installed it here.
